We didn’t notice that Mollom was being discontinued (https://www.mollom.com/index.php?q=eol), and so Mollom was still set up as our spam filter when the service was disconnected. We are now unable to log into our own site, because when you try to log in you get this error message:
The spam filter installed on this site is currently unavailable. Per site policy, we are unable to accept new submissions.
I don’t know why that’s happening when logging in rather than just when creating new registrations or content, but it is. I tried reaching into the database to disable the Mollom module, but that had no effect. I’ve looked all through the database to try to find a setting that might be responsible for this “site policy” of not accepting submissions while the spam filter is unavailable, but I haven’t found anything and I’m not sure where else to look. Can anyone suggest a way to either disable this setting or work around this issue? Thanks!
