Maintenance and security release of the Drupal 7 series.
This release fixes security vulnerabilities. Sites are urged to upgrade immediately after reading the notes below and the security announcement:
No other fixes are included.
No changes have been made to the .htaccess, web.config, robots.txt or default settings.php files in this release, so upgrading custom versions of those files is not necessary.
There are no known regressions in this release.
Known issues from previous releases:
Drupal 7.51 causes drag-and-drop functionality in Drupal to stop working for a small number of users. This problem can occur for sites which updated to a jQuery version between 1.7 and 1.11.0 (for example as obtained via the jQuery Update module); on those sites, some Internet Explorer 11 and Edge users as well as a small number of users of the Chrome browser will experience the bug (although the number of affected users will go up as new Chrome versions are released in the future). For more information and a patch, see . The patch has been committed to Drupal core and will be included in the next non-security release. Switching to a different jQuery version will also solve the problem.
