Drupal developer wanted for community library project

I’m looking to contract an experienced freelance Drupal developer to assist with migrating a Drupal 6 site to Drupal 7 (or possibly 8). I am a library and information management consultant with experience building Drupal sites but I’m not a PHP programmer or developer, so I need assistance with module and backend development and the developer I usually work with is unavailable.

The site was developed in 2011 for a non-profit organization that supports queer and trans youth in Nova Scotia to manage their small library collection. It has a library catalogue built with CCK and related modules; it allows staff and volunteers to create catalogue records populated with book data from OpenLibrary.org; and it manages circulation of library materials to members using core user management features and a custom circulation module. It also has a custom module for generating unique classification numbers for books. I need a Drupal developer to update the two custom modules, help with customizing the theme, assist with migrating content, and acting as a resource when I have questions or need a bit of coding done. I will take care of the majority of the site design and building, all project management, and communication with the client.

The timeline is flexible and the fees are negotiable.
