Questionmark Corporation (www.questionmark.com) seeks a Drupal development partner for a strategic product development initiative.
Questionmark assessment and portal solutions enable organizations to measure knowledge, skills and attitudes for certification, channel expertise, regulatory compliance and workforce learning. Questionmark’s assessment management system, available as a cloud-based or on premise solution, enables collaborative, secure authoring; powerful item banking; multiple delivery options including mobile devices; trustable results and comprehensive analytics.
Questionmark’s flexible APIs and support of major industry standards ensure interoperability with a variety of enterprise systems. Questionmark OnDemand, a scalable, rapidly-deployable cloud-based solution, offers 99.9+% uptime, available 24/7 support, and the peace-of-mind of secure, audited US and European-based data centers.
Questionmark has adopted Drupal as the portal framework for its platform. Questionmark seeks a Drupal development partner to assist in the execution of an “apps” strategy. The apps strategy centers on adding functionality to Questionmark’s SaaS product by building applications that enhance and supplement the standard functionality. These applications will be composed of Drupal modules deployed as a Drupal feature.
The partner will be expected to develop applications according to standards and specifications that Questionmark provides. Questionmark will provide the partner with several resources to ensure developed applications meet Questionmark standards for coding and security:
• App Developers should start with a default Drupal 7 installation.
• They will then download and install the Questionmark-provided modules from GitHub
o An exemplar module will be available
o Several “helper” modules will be available
• In order to test connecting to Questionmark services, a test environment will be made available in Azure.
• The applications will need to run on a WISP (Windows, IIS, SQL Server PHP) stack, but development may take place on a Mac, on a different type of stack.
• Modules are expected to meet these requirements:
o Target D7 modules, but develop object-oriented, D8-ready code.
o Include unit tests
An example of an application that Questionmark expects the partner to build is “certificate management.” There are three different roles involved in this type of application.
